Petition
A Petition is the opening material-contribution stage of a Public Work. It displays a capped requirement for each material and records donations in any chosen increments before the Build stage begins.

Contributions
Each donated amount remains credited to the Petition, allowing a Public Work to be funded across multiple Workdays. The displayed material ceiling distinguishes the remaining civic requirement from ordinary stock available for producers, buildings, recipes, and other named needs.
At level 8, the basic Work Order can reserve listed Acorns, Wood, or finished Plank Bundles up to the Pondworks Petition ceiling. A reservation and an unreserved stockpile are separate material states.
Build
When every displayed ceiling is complete, Approve Plans begins the timed Build. Only one Public Work Build can run at a time, and its completion leads directly to the project's Dedication.
The Build may use Farm Bucks timer finishing after at least 60 seconds and 10% of its original duration have elapsed. The Petition remains a contribution stage rather than a timer.
