War Squirrels Squads
War Squirrels squads are prebuilt, equal-value teams of three squirrels. One squad is selected for an encounter, then its members are placed in the three War lanes to form a plan against the displayed enemy formation.
- Squad size
- Three squirrels.
- Template value
- Fixed and equal across squad templates.
- Selection
- One squad per encounter.
- Class roles
- Scout, Guard, Courier, and Engineer.
Fixed templates
Every squad template is free to select and remains fixed and equal in value. Its lane placements combine with the visible formation, terrain, and tactical choices in the encounter plan.
Class roles
The Scout reveals lane intent, the Guard absorbs a scripted pressure, the Courier shifts one ally lane, and the Engineer explains terrain tactics. These readable roles supply the class-and-tactic contributions named in the resolution.
Encounter planning
Each squirrel is assigned to a labeled lane after the enemy plan is displayed. The resulting placements, together with either of the two tactics, remain adjustable until the rehearsal is confirmed.
