Getting started
Rodent Farm begins in a small clearing and expands through producer buildings, civic landmarks, and town presentation. The opening sequence establishes the relation between ordinary capacity, collected resources, and the current Civic Need; later levels add Wood, crafting, Dispatch, and the Acorn Space Program.
- First producer
- Acorn Patch at L1.
- First capacity building
- Storehouse at L2.
- First Public Work
- Pondworks at L8.
- Finale-scale milestone
- Acorn Space Program and Rocket Post at L35.
Opening clearing
The L1-L5 opening introduces the Acorn Patch, ordinary producer states, and Collect All. The Storehouse at L2 expands capacity, and the Cheese Shed at L3 adds Cheese to the ordinary material loop. Together these buildings establish production, readiness, and the effect of a full storehouse on output.
Coins enter as ordinary spending for buildings, recipes, and civic costs. Cheese gains further uses in hospitality and recipes, where its plain and Aged forms serve different named material requirements.
Wood and Pondworks
Wood becomes available at L6, introducing the choice between direct material use and Plank Bundle processing. At L8, Pondworks begins the first Public Work arc. Its Petition accepts staged contributions before the Build and Dedication stages alter the map and open Water Works access.
The basic L8 Work Order can reserve Pondworks materials up to its Petition ceiling. Uncommitted output continues to use normal Stockpile capacity, linking the project to the farm's established collection and storage cycle.
Town development
The Visitor Cabin at L10 introduces Neighbor Notices and hospitality. The Workshop at L12 opens standard recipes and Craft Work Orders, allowing ordinary goods to become named products for projects, notices, and Dispatch. The Bridge to Nowhere at L14 enlarges the clearing, and the Beacon at L16 adds its night-time art and story material.
Dispatch and later landmarks
The Dispatch Desk at L18 introduces Road, River, and Aerial delivery comparisons. Their goods and travel times create alternative schedules around producer refill time. War Squirrels can become available after L18 when its Dispatch and completed Public Work requirements are met during a scheduled regional window.
The Canopy Annex at L25 adds three presentation slots. At L35, the Acorn Space Program establishes the Rocket Post and Aerial Dispatch presentation, providing the farm's finale-scale transformation.
