Food and Provenance Chains

Food and Provenance Chains were an earlier resource organization model in Rodent Farm. Their place in the current economy is held by named Workshop recipes and their stated destinations, including Hospitality, Public Works, and Dispatch.

Named recipes

Current recipes state their materials and purpose. Roasted Nuts support Pondworks and commissions, Aged Cheese serves Hospitality, Trail Mix supports Dispatch, and Plank Bundles serve construction and Public Works. A recipe is selected for its named destination rather than as a general replacement for its ingredients.

Work Order destinations

The Work Order Board assigns a producer class to a capped civic, delivery, or craft destination. Output outside that allocation enters the Stockpile, preserving a clear route from producer to destination.
