How ordinary producers use real elapsed time, settle output against storage capacity, and distinguish post-cap recovery.

Timed Production and Offline Progress

Timed production is the ordinary-resource system used by Rodent Farm producers. It measures real elapsed time whether the farm is open or unattended, and it accepts output only while space remains in ordinary storage.

Accepted output
The lesser of potential output since the last settlement and free storage space
Timer status
An estimate; a fresh Collect All receipt is final
At capacity
Ordinary production stops.
Post-cap recovery
Eligible ordinary producer output may qualify for the Lost-and-Found Cart.

Output settlement

At settlement, accepted output is the lesser of potential ordinary output since the previous settlement and available storage space. A receipt records the final result, while countdowns are estimates. Device-clock changes affect those estimates but do not create output or alter an eligible recovery claim.

Capacity during an absence

Ordinary production continues until storage fills and then stops at that limit. The Storehouse increases ordinary-storage capacity, allowing producers such as the Acorn Patch to accept more elapsed output before a later collection. A completed recipe follows its separate Apply path when its destination is tight.

Recovery eligibility

The Lost-and-Found Cart watches after an eligible ordinary producer first reaches capacity. Construction output, recipe output, and goods reserved for a project do not qualify. These categories remain distinct in a receipt: ordinary output is stored, reserved goods remain committed, and recovery is a separate sealed claim.
