Pondworks
Pondworks, also known as Water Works, is the level 8 first Public Work. Its completion gives the clearing waterwheel art, Water Works access, a Pond Island shortcut, and Pip Puddlefoot's pond-associated area.

Materials
Pondworks begins with an untimed Petition. Wood can satisfy direct material requirements, while Plank Bundles combine Wood and Coins through the Workshop. The basic Work Order provides the level 8 reservation route for named Pondworks materials before full Workshop recipes open at level 12.
The work inspector shows the active material quantities and Petition ceilings. Contributions may be made over multiple Workdays, preserving each recorded amount until the Petition is complete.
Completion
Approve Plans begins Pondworks' Build, which occupies the global Public Work construction slot. Completion opens two Dedication identities: Lily Landing provides alternate art and a map shortcut, while Mill Memorial provides alternate art and a Water Works build-index shortcut.
Pond Island is a 3 x 3 landmark with one decoration-cluster limit. It complements the waterwheel, Water Works access, and Pip Puddlefoot's association with the completed pond.
History
Earlier Pondworks descriptions associated the landmark with build-time and adjacent-capacity benefits. The current landmark preserves its water art, shortcut, and story role, while those former benefits remain historical material.
