Household stories were a former narrative system in Rodent Farm. The historical name remains searchable, while current narrative moments are recorded through Story Windows, captions, and Town Mementos.

Story Windows
Story Windows record chapters and captions unlocked through Tableaux or Public Work Dedications. Once unlocked, they can be read without a time gate and provide a lasting record of the town's changing appearance.
Memento records
Town Mementos are fixed decorative records that can be reread after filing. They preserve the game's quieter scenes alongside its civic milestones, including the theatrical tableau of Repeated Jobs.
